Shared left border width

I'm building a Web site with a shared top, left and bottom border. I want to
lock the width of the shared left border at 125 pixels in order to match it
to graphics in the top and bottom borders.

When I open a broswer and view the page online, the width of the left border
varies depending upon the browser window. This creates gaps or overlaps
between the side border and the top and bottom graphics. I tried inserting a
table 125 pixels wide in the shared left border, but that didn't work either.

I'm developing on a live site without FP extensions, but intend to put the
finished site on a server with extensions. Will the extensions cure the
problem?

Suggest that you switch to using the FP Include Page component and tables where you have more
flexibility in designing your page layout. Hosting the site on a server with or without the
extensions has no impact on your current issue.

A shared left/right border will always have an approximate 24 pixel gab between the page body
content, and if using absolute positioning, elements will appear on top or under other elements as
the browser window is resized.
