Hi all..I need help correcting a mistake I made in the console tree. I tried
to drag a music playlist to the shared folder in documents but, I have
arthritis in my hands and when I dragged it I did'nt have CTRL held down
(like I thought I did) and it moved something important. Can someone please
help? thanks

And the problem is ???? since it's in a shared folder? Can't you move the
file back out?

Instead of drag/drop so it's easier on your hands, I think:
Highlite the files you want to copy or move and paste.

Press ctrl+x to cut.
or press ctrl+c to copy.
Click once in the destination folder.
Press ctrl+v to paste.

Some of this may seem redundant, but perhaps some way or your own combo can
help ease the pain:

Cut/Copy/Paste:

Copy/paste is simple, you can do it several different ways.
#1 is the quickest:
Press CTRL+A------This will hilite all
Press CTRL+C------This will copy all that’s hilit
Press CTRL+V------This will paste all that was copied
#2:
Press the left mouse button once at the beginning of the text to be
copied.-----This places the blinking cursor at the beginning of the text to be
copied.
Move the mouse pointer to the end of the text to be copied, press/hold down the
Shift key and left click.-----This will hilite all the selected text to be
copied.
Use CTRL+C to copy
Use CTRL+V to paste
#3:
Press/hold down the left mouse button and drag it over the text to be
copied.-----This will hilite all selected text to be copied.
Use CTRL+C to copy
Use CTRL+V to paste
#4:
Press/hold down the CTRL key and click on a line or paragraph of text.-----This
will highlite the line or paragraph of text to be copied. It only hilites to the
point where the Enter key was used to begin a new line or paragraph.
Use CTRL+C to copy
Use CTRL+V to paste
#5:
Hilite the text to be copied in any of the 4 ways explained above.
Right click once on the page.
Click on Copy in the popup menu.
In the program/application you want to copy the text, right click and click on
Paste in the popup menu.
#6:
In the program/application you want to copy the text from, hilite the text to be
copied in any of the 4 ways explained above.
Go to Edit on the menu bar at the top of the program/app and click on Copy.
In the program/application you want to paste the text into.
Go to Edit on the menu bar at the top of the program/app and click on Paste.
Pictures/graphics can all be copied/pasted in the same manner. If you ever need
to move text or a graphic in an program/app/document that you created. Cut
instead of Copy. The hotkeys for cut are CTRL+X. Cut is also in the right click
popup menu and in the edit menu. Once Cut, Paste where needed.

I'm sorry, thanks for the suggestion, is there a way to reverse the changes?
I thought it would be easy enough to fix but, I think I did something wrong.
Is there a reference somewhere that will show me a diagram/picture of how the
console tree should normally look..thanks

If you mean you want to leave a copy in the original allocation, then I
think just dragging it back without CTRL should accomplish that.
