Shared Bottom Border Displays Twice!

Why does my shared bottom border display twice, once published?
It looks ok when i view it in FrontPage, however, when, published it is
shown twice

You don't supply an URL so it must be guesswork. Do you happen to have
more than one body tag in the page? that will do it.

As suspected, that was the case.
You have two finishing </body> tags. That is illegal HTML. Remove the
first.
