Shared Borders

I'm having lots of problems with shared borders. When I
make a change to the shared borders, I often lose my
navigation bar. It isn't saving the changes to all the
HTML files, so when I view them locally, they are not
updated.

I also have problems with the left shared border throwing
all the content down below it, instead of existing on the
left.

Anyone have any advice?

I tend not to use shared borders for just those reasons.
I don't use the navigation components in FP either as I
generally use dhtm or flash menus. I do use the frontpage
include page in all my sites. It works extremly well.
This function has been removed from 2003 ..but webs
unlimited has come up with an addin the allows this
function!

The FP Include Page component, has not been removed from FP2003. What has
changed is that it now limit you only being able to include files with
either .htm or .html extension only.

The Webs Unlimited Add-in only allows for you to insert .asp pages.
