shared borders

S

Sean Kerslake

If I use shared borders in my web, where do I view the html code/file for
those borders - what is the file structure/organisation? - I want to add my
own search form into the border rather than 'insert' the frontpage default
component/search form.

Cheers, Sean

FrontPageForms

Sean,
Click " Web Settings " on " Tools Menu "
Click the " Advanced " tab.
Now select the " Show documents in hidden directories"
option to show or to the hide files in hidden folders.
Check the box to show hidden folders and un-check to disable this function.
Click " OK" to finish.

Your web is now set up so you can view and edit the HTML
in your shared borders, each with it's own page view.

If your current web is using shared borders, you will now
see a new Folder called "_borders ".
In this Folder you will find an HTML page that represents
each of the shared borders in your current Web;
Bottom, Left and Right and Top.htm
You can now open these files individually in FrontPage.
