Shared Borders Text?

G

Gary T. Butler

When I use shared borders and look at the HTML source the text in the shared
borders does not show. Where is it? If i view the page in a browser and then
view source the border code along with the text is shown.

Thanks in advance for any and all answers.

Gar

This is the source as viewed in FrontPage 2002.

Gary,

Follow the directions below to set up views for shared
borders.

Click " Web Settings " on " Tools Menu " (Site
Settings in 2003)

Click the " Advanced " tab.

Now select the " Show documents in hidden directories"
option to show or to the hide files in hidden folders.
Check the box to show hidden folders and un-check to
disable this function.

Click " OK" to finish.

Your web is now set up so you can view and edit the HTML
in your shared borders, each with it's own page view.

If your current web is using shared borders, you will now
see a new Folder called "_borders ".

In this Folder you will find an HTML page that represents
each of the shared borders in your current Web;

Bottom, Left and Right and Top.htm

You can now open these files individually in FrontPage.

Remember, when you save changes to these files all of the
corresponding shared borders will change automatically.
