shared borders help

I have a web site with 900 + pages. I created it a few years ago using
FP2002 with top Shared Borders. I also use All Web Menus for my navigation
bar in the top shared border. I now have FP 2003.

I would like to change the banner in my top shared border of the index page
only. I tried checking change for this page only in the shared borders
property box, but it still changes all the pages.

Any help would be appreciated.

What is in a shared border will appear in all pages that have shared
borders.

btw---have you noticed with AllWebMenus that it adds a bottom shared border?
I've just started messin around with AWM so I'm not sure if this is normal
behaviour for it

In AllwebMenus you link to the bottom shared border, but can place the menu
anywhere on the page. The problem with AllWebs is that it doesn't load
instantly. There is about a 3 - 5 second delay going from one page to the
next.

I haven't noticed a delay at all.

I was curious about the added bottom shared border...with the "ddddddddd"s
added that was kinda confusing to me.

Not sure it's a problem....but is AWM creating shared borders on the bottom
of each of your pages too?
