Shared boarders duplicate X4/8/16 after save

Mary Beth

Hi Helpers,
6 months ago I asked advice about this navagation bar
duplication and got 2 ansswers from you folks. So I
upgraded from WinME to Win xp Pro and I downloaded all
Win downloads to date and this am downloaded the FP
Office Online Service pack3 and Office XP update KB833858.

It is doing the same thing. (When I bought the FP2002
upgrade and this happened, I returned it for a new one
last year).

When I save changes in FP and close it, upon reopening
again ther are at least 4 more shared boarders sometimes
up to 16,AND occasionally ALL the html is gone with the
entire page. I can't tell you how many hours it has cost
me to update my informational website:
www.bearcreekcountryclub.com.

Any sugesstions?
Mary Beth

And the bugs are also in the FP2002 SE related to shared borders & include pages
so make sure you (and your host) see & apply all appropriate patches on your server from:

For the Host/Server running the FP2002 SE

For Unix server problems on the FP2002 SE see

The latest FP SE for Unix that fix the problems
(FPSE 2000 1.4 patch and an FPSE 2002 SR 1.1 patch)

Thanks Stephan & Jim,
I'll talk to my isp..Today is the first time I FTP'd my
website back to my desktop adn received the same problem!
The site still is OKAY. Last year I tlaked to them &
they said they update their FP service extensions.
Yesterday I tried to back up the registry files..and
didn't. So today I tried to follow the sstring on
Knowlege base 298827.
Start, Run, open box typed "regedit", OK,HKEY-
LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsost\Shared Tools\Web Server
Extensions\Ports...(the files under ports did not say
port/LM/W3SVC...etc) Ichecked the all ports folder as
well. What was in the ports folder was ab(Default)
FEF_52....value not set.
Needless to say I couln't remove the 4
CacheMax...entries.

Anymore suggestions? 6/30/04
Thanks,
Mary Beth
