I downloaded ShareazaLite. That was a mistake. Casino spyware up the ass.
I spent about three hours cleaning my registry and scanning with various
utilties. Don't go there and make the mistake I did. These two are not
the same company it seems. I am still looking to download some music
compliant with all laws. I will download the official Shareaza and go from
there. I was wondering about some of the issues with Shareaza-has anyone
had any problems with the programas indicated in this pdf?:

What about some of these others?:

Never heard about a "lite" version, Shareaza is an open souce p2p
client.

I am using Shareaza for about a year now, and I never had any problems with
it. No spyware, works perfectly, I highly recommend it.

Well, since Shareaza is open source, someone probably download the
source code to this prog & added spyware to it & renamed it
ShareazaLite. It can happen with open source software, since the code
is avaliable anyone can download it & add spyware to it & recompile it.

If you are in America, you can't use Shareaza and be compliant with all
laws. This is why your RIAA and MPAA are suing users and Torrents sites.
Head to Itunes, Napster etc if you want to download legally. Or move up
here to Canada, where so far the lawmakers are a little more sane about
fair use isssues.

"Fairness" means whoever makes the biggest contribution to the campaign
kitty (directly or indirectly) - just follow the money. We do have the
best lawmakers money can buy, they say! :)

Now that I have the son of a bitch I don't know how to make it work. It has
grown since the last time I had it on my other machine with win98.

It was not this difficult to set up on my old machine a few years ago. This
version I just can't figure it out. I searched for a artist and her song
that I had on my fried computer from back in the day. Some were found but
there was something in the window that said my filter would not allow it.
Filter? Filter? I got no steenkin filter....At least I don't think I do.Man
all these menu's for bits and rates and dis and dat....damn...I just gotta
learn greek. Or try another p2p-for-dummies. Got any idea of another
p2p-for-dummies? r some tips? The help menu is also in Greekinesekin.

(Well, I been doin' other things these last few years on my PC)

*wink*
