Shading Cells

I have Excel 2000. I am trying to shade all the cells in a row if the cell
at the end of that particular row has a value. I can use the conditional
formatting and get that one cell to change shades but I want the whole row to
change. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
JM

Hi JM,

Suppose you want to shade the range A2:R2 if R2=5.

Just select the range, then menu Format, Conditional Formatting, under
Condition 1 select "Formula is" and type in the text box this formula:

=$R2=5

Then choose the format you prefer.

Adapt to your real range and condition.

translating from the Italian version of Excel...)

Hope I helped you.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.
