Shading alternate rows in Excel

Is there someway to shade every other row in an Excel speadsheet without
doing it one by one?
 
Hi Whoray,

Here's one way:

Select the range of rows that you want to highlight.
Goto Format>Conditional Formatting
Formula Is =MOD(ROW(),2)=1
Select the background fill pattern you want
OK out

If you want the second row to start the highlight then
just simply change the formula from =1 to =0
