So Call Me Crazy

As I recall, I used to be able to give my buttons a special effect that made
them look raised -- there was shading. I don't seem to be able to do that
with buttons any more. Am I just crazy? Was that only in VB world?

Using Access 2007, by the way

There's no built-in feature of Access 2003 and earlier to allow "shading",
but my Command Buttons are automatically created to appear raised. There
are quite a number of appearance changes in Office 2007 -- I'm not using it
yet -- and the buttons may be created with a different look.

By using layers and images or shapes you can easily create a button with
almost any look you want. I frequently make a button to pop up a read me
file out of a raised organization logo.
