I am the only user of my laptop and use no password. I tried to run sfc
/scannow and was told that only administrator was authorized to use this
command. How can I secure my authorization for this and any other requests
for administrative rights?

TIA

Type cmd in the Start Search box above the Start Orb. When cmd.exe appears at
the top of the Start Menu, right click on it and select "Run As Administrator".

Then enter the command: scf /scannow
