After running "sfc /scannow" would i have to reinstall
sp1, updates, And hotfixes ?
Does "sfc /scannow" return the computer to a preupdated

Good questions.

The System File Checker replaces protected Windows files that have been
changed (or are missing altogether) with the correct version. It is not a
method of restoring your computer to a previous time and you won't have to
reinstall any of the updates you have obtained from Windows update.
