I am installing WinXP over my WinXP already on my harddrive. I have done
this once before about a year ago with no problem using this same CD that
came with the computer.
After clicking on "Install Windows XP", an error message comes up:
The option to upgrade will not be available at this time because Setup was
unable to load the file D:\i386\INNTUPG\NETUPGRD.DLL
The system cannot find the file specified.
I click on the okay and after a bit, the "Windows Setup" window appears. 2
days ago I continued with the setup and everything worked fine...my computer
was much faster, except the Windows Media Player gets an error message:
The procedure entry point_GetIUMS@4 could not be located int he dynamic link
library MSDART.DLL
What should I do...what should be my next step?
My Desktop System:
Compaq Presario 4420CA Desktop
Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0.2600
Outlook Express 6.0.2600
ISP: earthlink.net (2-way satellite internet)
MS Office 2000 Small Business
