Setup secure network

I want to create a network using the linksys WRT54G wireless router but when
someone detects the wireless network, connects and opens Internet Explorer
the client should be redirected to a page where he/she has to enter a
username and password provided by me to browse. Is there anyway to do that?

You need what's called a "proxy." There are software & hardware versions.
Many coffee houses use them to enable billable wireless access. I think 3Com
makes one, not sure the name though. Most smaller businesses use a software
proxy, like Microsoft ISA Server. There are probably many linux & other OS
types.
