Settings transfer to new computer

Hi Group,

I am moving to a new computer next week, both on win xp pro, has anyone any
advice on using the "files and settings transfer wizard".

I am proposing to use a DVD disc formatted with "drag to disc" to facilitate
the transfer, but I would also welcome advise on a direct link between
computers using a direct cable using the serial ports.

Hi David,

A serial port link is e x t r e m e l y slow. However, if you use a DVD in
that manner, you may also need to install the same software on the new
system in order to decode it. Read up on the fastwiz here:
