Setting width of columns in a table

K

Kimberly

I have a table with 9 columns, 7 of which I want to be the
same width. How do I set multiple col. widths at the same
time in a table in PPT?

Thanks!

Kim, you're repeating your question. There's no need to do that. If others
have ideas they will post to the original question. Did you not yet see the
answer I gave in your original thread, "Setting multiple column widths in a
table"? If you have questions or want further elaboration, post in that
thread, not a new one. Thanks.

Robert - I can't see that my original questions ever got
posted and therefore I did not see your response. I have
done a search on the sender's name and the subject, but
can only find this question. Can you please point me in
the right direction?

Thanks

WOW! You're right! There's about 7 hours of posts missing from the MS
Newsgroup Website. Your posts were in that batch. They DID, however, show up
on the server, which many of us are directly connected to using programs
such as Outlook Express. I see you are using the Website, so I can
understand you repeating the question. My apologies, and feel free to repeat
the other questions. We'll copy the responses.

So, here was my reply to your question about the column widths:

"You could do that in an automated fashion it if you created a Word table
object or an Excel (table) object. But with the standard PowerPoint Table
object, you have to adjust each column width manually."

Let us know if you need more help.
