Setting up Sent Emails as Tasks

John Luxem

I am trying to organize future sent emails as tasks. I have setup rules for
each email address i am sending to to setup the task. It works fine except i
can not see it the outlook today home screen, nor can i mark the task
completed. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Outlook Today shows only your default Tasks folder.

Brian,
It shows up in the Outlook today as a "dashed" line and when you try to
click on it nothing happens. Also you are not able to check it off as
completed either.

Rules cannot convert an email to a Task. You'll need to do it manually by
dragging to the Tasks folder.

Alternatively, use flags and Rules - if you have version 2007.
