Setting up RAID......

What kind of controller would I need to set up a SATA RAID? I have a A7N8x,
not deluxe. What kind of controller card would I need? I've seen controller
cards from $20 and up but I don't think the $20 ones are the ones I need.
Anybody have one that you'd recommend? Thanks for any response.

What do you need SATA raid for? Home use such as video editing? Backing up
data? Some business purposes or something else? I don't think we can help
you much unless you state what your requirements are.

You probably need a new motherboard for that. I haven't seen any add-on PCI
card SATA RAID cards out yet.

Actually, there are quite a few SATA raid PCI add-in boards out there - its
just that they don't achieve the 150mbs max transfer rate due to the PCI bus
restrictions of 133mbs max data rate. It's not a big restriction.
