Setting up on a raid 0 array

Tom

I attempted to set up Win 2000 Pro on a raid 0 array but
encountered a problem. I had created the partition using
Partition Magic 7 and resized the clusters to 32k to
match the raid 0 stripe but when I attempted to set up
the OS, it responded that the C partition was corrupted
and refused to install. I attempted to install XP Pro and
had no problems. I checked the disk after set up and it
reports no error so why would 2000 refuse to set up?

AFAIK there's really no advantage to matching stripe size to cluster size.
And certainly no advantage to 32k clusters unless it's maybe an SQL server
(or along those lines) You're going to waste a huge amount of space.
