I have two PC's runing XP Home connected via a crossover cable. I can browse each machine from the other and they are logged in as ComputerAdministrators. My problem is that I want to set up the laptop to synchronise the "My Documents" folder on the desktop for offline use. None of the options for Offline Files are visible in the menus, so I can't configure it. I have checked the KB, but can't find anything appropriate.
Can anyone help???

I'm sorry, but XP Home doesn't have Offline Files -- that feature is
only available in XP Professional.

Here's a program that I use to synchronize files between computers,
after seeing it recommended in this news group by "Lanwench":

Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group
for everyone to see. I'm sorry, but I don't answer questions
addressed directly to me in E-mail or news groups.

Hi Ya Steve

Thanks for the heads up - I ended up using a Briefcase to achieve what I needed.

Why don't Micorsoft note the limitations of XP Home on the articles relating to Offline Files - it would've saved me a heap of time.....
