Is it possible to set up an email account to link with a hotmail.co.uk
account within outlook 2007. If so how can this be done?

Yes - if you pay for your hotmail account.....

Why do i have to pay when if i have a hotmail.com address i can set it up
for
free?

If you create any NEW free hotmail account with any suffix you'll find that
you cannot use it with Outlook or Outlook express. You probably have a
legacy account if you are using it currently. There is some talk that new
free Hotmail Live accounts can be used with outlook using the beta version
of Outlook Connector - but I haven't been able to get it to work yet....

As far as i am aware as long as you have a hotmail.com address not a
hotmail.co.uk address then outlook can sign in and syncronise with the
emails. However now i have had to set up a new account and because i live in
the uk i can only create a hotmail.co.uk address. What is infuriating is that
i am effectivley being charged twice to use outlook to view my emails.
