Greetings:
I am trying to set up Briefcase and when I try to drag folders into the
Briefcase folder, I get the following message:

"Cannot create a sync realtionship with this folder at this location in the
briefcase"

How can I solve this problem?
Thank you.

Hii, try creating a folder inside briefcase and pasting all fiels in there
from ur required folder.

Please describe exactly the steps you used.
Which computer (A or B) is the briefcase on.
Which computer (A or B) are you using to drag the folders to the briefcase?

I have no problems with a briefcase that I made on computer A, if I drag the folders from B to A
when using computer B to view the Windows Explorer for the drag. However, I can not drag folder
from B to the briefcase on A if I am accessing the operation from computer A.

Note: Be aware that with the briefcase as a sync tool, you can loose data.
Example: You create a file on A and put it in the briefcase in B.
Then you update the file on A, but have not yet updated the briefcase on B.
Then you later open that file in the briefcase, but do not change it.
Now you update the briefcase. The update thinks the copy in the briefcase is newer than the copy on
A (you looked at it on a later date) and it will replace the copy on computer B with the older copy
in the briefcase. You now lost all the changes you had made to the file.

Sorry, no experience with these.
I do use the briefcase on an older Windows 98 computer in my network. I use it only for backing up
personal files from the other networked computers and I don't access the briefcase files unless I
need the backup copy.

When I need to work on a file on another computer, I just access it directly through the network.
