Setting up as a RAID setup

Have removed Vista from my computer and reinstalled XP Hme OEM. My new
computer parts will be here next week and I intend putting Vista on that. A
couple of questions

1/ I will be using my XP Pro CD ( old computer had XP Home OEM ) when I set
up Vista . Should be no problems I just guess its a metter of telling them
when I ring up to activate. ?

2/ I will be using a RAID setup ( setup across both disks ) and was
wondering do you need a floppy to install the RAID drivers like in XP ? Any
goof wb sites available to show a Vista Raid setup or any suggestions ?

is alot faster in performance, I do not see it as a terrible Idea. Just
pereference thats all.

I have been running a PC with RAID0 for the past 5 year with no problems at
all. I've only had a HD break down on me once (a 40MB one after 7 years of
operation(!)) since 1982. Considering the HDs I've used through the 20 years
I'd say it's a good number. Still, if you are that scared that your HD is
going to break down, you are already having this problem with one HD as it
is.

Everyone was telling me not to go with RAID0 and that it's a waste of money.
They were directing me to pages like the one above and sites that supposedly
knew what they were doing.

Today I tell you, those pages are total crap and don't give out the facts
right. I wouldn't change it for anything even if one of the HDs broke down
tommorow. I can prove to anyone wishing to visit me at home for a beer that
the same PC with RAID0 performes a lot faster when it comes to HD intensive
operations than without it.

Go with RAID0 and you won't regret it. And rember this, you will truly
understand the performance boost you enjoy only when you go back to using a
single HD.
