Setting up a home network

Hello,

I am trying to share files with my laptop and my home computer because I
already share internet connection but after running Network Setup Wizard it
tells me that wireless home is not accessible. On my desktop I can see my
laptop name but cannot access it and on my laptop I don't see my desktops
name and I cannot view work group computers under network places. I am using
a wireless network adapter for my laptop also. Any help would be appreciated.

Lydia,

Are your two computers both running WinXP? Another version of Windows? If XP,
is it Home or Pro? What service pack? All of this makes a difference.

Can you see anything under Entire Network - Microsoft Windows Network? Are both
computers in the same workgroup?

Are there any, or have there been any, firewalls on either computer?

Cheers,
Chuck
Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.
