setting up a DNS system for enterprise

K

Krishna

Hi

I have 3 locations with their own domains, their own
exchange servers and their own mail domains.

Two locations are on NT 4 & Exch 5.5. The other location
is on Win2K + AD + Exch 2K. All the three locations have
their DNS servers with Mx records.

Now if I want to start routing mails between the three
locations, I understand that I have to setup DNS system in
addition to the routing so that it can route the right
mail domain request to the right name server.

The routing is ready. How do I setup a DNS system (I am
ready to setup a DNS server on Win2K server. in fact it is
already setup except for the configuration) to help my
mails flow between the three locations...

Please help.

Regards
Krishna

Hi
I have made SMTP connectors in each exchange server to the
other two domains. Things are working now.

Sounds like the correct configuration between different orgs or SMTP
domains.
