Setting up a dial-up connection

After upgrading to Win. XP from Win. 98 I'm unable to
create a new dial-up connection. After choosing to "set
up internet account manually" the first option to connect
using a dial-up modem is blocked out. The only option
openned is the 3rd option for cable modems, DSL etc.

How could I go about creating my dial-up account manually
my (ISP) is not in your list, so I need to set up
manually.

Hey, I should check your modem is installed under XP and
is working correctly. I know i had to replace my modem
when i went from 98 to XP. It could be because there is no
modem, it will just blank out the dial up networking
because of it.

Hope thats it sorted!
