Setting time limits on user usage

We would like to limit what time our children can be on the
internet/computer. Does windows have any settings that would allow me to set
this up or would it take another program?

Unless you're good with the Scheduler and know the programs to
call, it's not very practical, IMO.

I use a rather neat program called the Kana Reminder, which will
let you do what you want, though. You can even set it to give an
alert x minutes before the shut down. Seems to work pretty good,
is small and wastes no resources that I can notice.
