I am having troubles with setting tabs in Vista.

I have a document that requires some text with left justification and the
remaining at right justification. (a resume) I inserted the tabs where I
needed the right hand text....

After I completed the document, I emailed it to the recipient.
Unfortunately none of the tabs are lining up for them. Any ideas? They are
not using Vista.

Thanks

Perhaps if you gave some clues about which program you used to
edit the file, and in what format you transmitted it, somebody
could help.

I relaize that many people are not using this - so I am having to save the
document in the 1997/2003 compatibility mode.

Still not sure what I am doing wrong with the tabs though.

Thanks! =)

The end user would need the Office 2007 compatibility KB file installed in all likely hood.
What version did you try saving the word document down to?
I would try saving the file down to earlier versions to see if you could duplicate the issue.
