Setting Opening default size for Folders

I would like to set my system to have all files open in full size, and I
can't seem to find the tool to do that. I need some directions that I, a
somewhat competent, but technically unsavy user, can understand.

Control panel---folder options---open each folder in same window.

I have my computer set on that but all the folders open in the reduced size,
not the full screen size.
