Setting IRQs

Asrock PE-PRo-HT P4 2.4g 1GRAM 160 HD running on SCSI Card
Sound skips when processor and HD are active.
I do not use the parallel port and would like to disable it and put the
C-Media AC97 AUdio Device on the paralle IRQ to see if that will stop the
skipping.
How do I do this?
Also how do I do a scan or probe to see everything on all IRQs at once?

Do you have the latest XP driver for your sound card? I don't think the IRQ
is the problem, sharing is normal on XP. I have C-Media AC 97. It shares an
IRQ with five other devices, with no problems.

Yes, I even scratched my whole install, even formated to try to get it to
change and still no avail. I have a dupilcate system that does not have as
big a problem, only skips on certain games, this this one does it all the
time.

One other note, the device is currently on IRQ 18.
