Setting font defaults

I would like to set the defaults for my text box and label controls to Arial.
I have it set in the options for the forms and queries, but I can't find how
to set it for the controls. Everytime I start a new one the Calibri font is
in the default. Is there a way to change it.

Hi

Open any form in deign view
Show tool box
Select the text box icon (but don't click the screen to actually create one)
Select the text size and font you want all future text boxes to be
Save

From now on all text boxes you create will be in the text and size you set.

I would have never found that, is it actually stated somewhere. It worked

I don't know if it's written in the help file somewhere - think it must be.

It was my work mate who told me a while ago when he watched me changeing the
text boxes for ages. He comes on this forum as mikeCCC - don't believe
anything he tells you - LoL {;-)

I was searching for the same answer and you helped me also. thank you.

An interesting note on this: I have been working on a database for three
months in Access 2007. Every control on every form would come up Calibri 11
until today when I added a text box and it came up Tahoma 8. Besides
repairing my office installation 2 to 3 times a week I did nothing different.
