Setting first day of week

I can't seem to set Sunday as the first day of the week
for the Month view of my calendar. When I specific Sunday
in the Options menu/calendar options, it sets it for my
work week view, but not for the month view. Anybody know
how to do this. Does microsoft only give us teh month
view that has Sat/Sun in one box on the right for each
week in the month view?

box for "Compress weekend days"
