Setting DHCP Class ID with Group Policy

Can anyone tell me (or send link) how to set a DHCP Class ID with a Group
Policy?

I have created a .bat file that I confirmed works (on the client) to set the
class Id. I copied it to the windows\system folder on a 2003 AD server. Then
I specified it (with complete path) as the logon file to run in group policy
computer settings and user settings (I tried both) but neither worked to set
the class ID
