How do you set the default for auto shapes in Word 2007. I would like the
auto shapes with no fill and would also like to change the line weight. Right
now I have to change them every time I insert one.

Thanks in advance.

After making the changes you want in one shape, right-click the shape and
choose "Set AutoShape Defaults".

You can make a universal change to the default for AutoShapes if you open
the Normal template. Create & format a Shape, right-click it & select Set
AutoShape Defaults, then delete the Shape Save & Close Normal.

PS: I should have noted that you can do the same in an given document to set
the defaults for that document - I simply interpreted your request to
literally mean "every time" :-)
