Setting default field values for new tasks

Hi!

I would like to specify certain default field values which all new tasks
should have when I create them.

For example, I would like to be able to specify that all new tasks I create
have the status "In Progress", and that the Owner isn't myself but rather my
team leader, etc. etc.
