SETTING DEFAULT BOOT OPERATING SYSTEM?

G

Gramps

I have Windows XP and am wondering if there is a way to select which
operating system is the default. If I do nothing, the computer will boot
from the first listed Operating System, I want to have the second one listed
as my boot Opeating System.

Any ideas?

Either use a text editor, such as NotePad, to manually edit
C:\Boot.ini to select a new default OS, or, from within WinXP,
right-click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Startup and
Recovery, Settings > Default operating system.

Go to Start > Run and type: MSCONFIG , and hit enter.
Click on the BOOT.INI tab and highlight the desired O/S
and click "Set as Default".
