Setting column headings in mail folders

Is there a way to globally set column headings in mail folders, Outlook 2003,
or do I need to go folder to folder to arrange them? Inbox and sub folders.

if you edit the Messages view it will apply to all folders using that view.
Alternately, make a new named view and apply it to the folders as you visit
them.

make changes to the default view.
