setting chart length & width in centimeters

Moving to a new wider PC with improved resolution, i need to set the chart
width and length (in centimeters) using Excel2003, but unfortunately i cannot
re-find the correct screen to that shows this measurement. This box also has
options for moving, locking and sizing the chart with cells.

Hold Shift while you click on the chart, which selects the shape that
contains the chart. Then format this shape (shortcut: Ctrl+1, numeral one).
You'll find all this and more in that dialog.

This procedure brought up the Format Object box that i was trying to find!
