Set-up a RAID 0 or 0+1 on XP

Can I set-up my 40GB WD Hard drive to a RAID drive without F-disk and a Re-formatt? I don't want to lose all of my information. Also I am adding a SATA adapter to my ata/100 drive to convert it.

Installing a RAID configuration requires two identical drives that

Dont forget,to install drivers you need to boot to xp cd,the text will show when to add them.
