set reminders

in inbox, if iset the flag as reminder, then I am getting the popup message. but the same thing , i am not getting when I set the flag outside of the inbox.

I am working in 3 projects, so I have 3 folders. all the project related meesages gose to one of these 3 folders.

how do i send messge with reminders OR followup. Suppose I am sendinf a meesage to my team members to do some task on tueseday. I may forgot after I send email to him. So how the outlook will remind me that I need to follow up with my team members on tueseday.

Outlook only allows reminders on the default folders of Outlook. For
reminders on any folder you'll need an add-in;
