set path, change path - path grayed out

How do I change path as a user? I can login as administrator and
click on "my computer\properties\advanced\environmental variables"
to change the path.

But when I login as a regular user, the path, and all the
environmental variables, is grayed out. How do I change the path then?

Hi,

You can't, regular users do not have sufficient privileges to change system
settings.
