Sessions not closing - Sharing Violations

In the manage computer area of windows 2000 server I have
open files that fail to close when the client actually
closes a document. Windows 2000 doesnt seem to
distinguish that the file has been closed and therefore
if the client tries to reopen it there is a sharing
violation.

This only seems to happen with Windows XP Pro SP1 clients.


Any Ideas?

This involves the server's ability to cache documents. Fortunately, you can
control how your server caches documents at the share and by modifying
"opportunistic Locking" at the server.
