Can anyone help with this please? What database does it
refer to?

"services (224) synchronous read page checksum error -1018
{{1:877 1:877}{0-15364}{0-170814}} ocurred. Please
restore the databases from a previous backup."

I am running Microsoft Office 2000 on a P2-300 machine.

Are you using SCSI cables? Do you have a SCSI setup in the machine?
