SERVICE WONT INSTALL

When the SP1 check for inventory and all that other stuff
I always get a error that says

"The file c:\windows\system32\drivers\atapi.sys is open or in use by another
application"

I have closed all the programs that run during this installation but i
always keep getting this error wich stops me from getting the SP1 Update

Can someone please tell me why does this happen and what might be using this
file

If you have "direct CD", Nero or any other CD writing software, check in
msconfig and see whether they are set to load with windows. Many times they
are. Uncheck them, and reboot and then retry the SP1 installation.

I closed doen all the programs and wat not that use a cd drive or anything
containign cd related stuff in it

But i still get the same error message
