Service Pak Install

Downloaded Office 2000 SR-1 Professional

Double clicked to install and it is asking me to insert
the SR-1 CD Rom which I obviously don't have as I
downloaded the file.

when I browse and point to my desktop where I saved the
file it doesn't find the file it is looking for.

Any install suggestions

Extract the SR-1 file and point to it again... You should be able to extract
it with winzip.
