Service Pack

Now I have installed (reinstalled 4 times) the IDE. This is the worst
implementation I have ever seen. Please MS provide a service pack to fix
the problems. Some of us are tired of waiting for next release.

Latest screwup. Make a change to a user control to make a text box
multiline. Sounds simple, well that change caused a msg that all open
designers with this control would have to be recompiled. Ok no problem. My
solution has all ctls and libraries as well as main app.

Ok rebuild. Now other controls on one of the forms have left the building.
I have source safe and can see the differences. Please please fix this MS .
RAD does not stand for Riddled and Defective.

I know it doesn't really help you... but I've never experienced this
behaviour, so it might not be a bug just in the IDE, it could be a
combination of the IDE and your system configuration.... What language are
you using, C#, VB.Net or C++? Possibly the problem is specific to a
particular designer...

I am using VB.NET and I have seen other posts with same problems. It gives
the msg indicating that I should ensure that the UC is compiled to allow any
container of this UC to work. At the time I had the problem, I had both the
UC designer and a form which hosts the UC open. It was the form that had
the problem.
