I did that but still can't send emails

I am using a remote server from my office laptop and find that having
installed that, (and it working well),I can't send emails from my home
computer

I have followed instructions from xtramail here in New Zealand but still
can't send them - and I am a builder by trade so that probably doesn't help

Do you receive any error messages? If so poste the exact wording,
