Service Pack 4

I can't get service pack 4 to download from the microsoft
update page. It continues to hang up and is not
downloading after many tries. I've heard there are
problems with this particular servic pack for microsoft
windows 2000 professional, which is what I have. How do I
go about getting this specific service pack on disk to
upgrade my machine?

Maybe if you first install the ms03-026 patch you can download the SP4.
Else try to find another machine which is able to download the file to
harddisk and burn it on a CD.

I am having the same problem. I did find out that my
internet provider was effected by the problems that were
going on with the bugs. I can not stay connected long
enough to get anything done. I was wondering if there is a
way ti install it without being connected to hte internet.

This will be a direct download. I believe M$ is having slight
problems with their servers so it may be a little slow.
